During my recent stay at Hillside Bungalows in Banff, I found the accommodation to be a mixed bag in terms of luxury and value. The cabins offer a cozy atmosphere with a well-equipped kitchenette, which was a lifesaver as my partner and I were on a month-long trip. The presence of a small lounge area with a gas heater was a nice touch, providing warmth during the chilly evenings.However, the size of the beds left much to be desired, and the lack of a dishwasher in the kitchenette was a drawback, especially considering the relatively high cost of accommodation in Banff. The bathroom was compact, and although functional, the outdated plastic shower curtain was a minor inconvenience.On the positive side, our host was accommodating and provided helpful tips on exploring the area. The proximity to Banff town was convenient, with a short walk or a quick bus ride available. The pin code access to the cabins eliminated the hassle of carrying keys around.Hillside Bungalows offers a decent value proposition for budget-conscious travelers looking for a simple, no-frills stay in Banff. If you can overlook minor comfort issues and prioritize affordability, this could be a suitable option for your trip to the area.
